The Full Athletics Range
Everything a athletics squad wears, built to one colour standard so the whole range matches season after season.
Customisation Options
Every decoration method below runs in our own factory, so we can mix them on one garment without shipping it out and adding a week to your lead time.

Sublimation Printing
The only sensible choice for a racing vest. At this fabric weight any applied decoration is felt against the skin and adds weight where athletes count grams.

Embroidery
For club crests on warm-up jackets, hoodies and travel wear only. Never on a racing vest — a dense stitch chafes and stiffens a lightweight fabric.

DTF Transfer
For names and squad identifiers on training and warm-up layers.

Screen Printing
Economical for large runs of club, meeting and supporter tees.

Woven Labels & Trims
Neck labels and care labels in your own branding, kept flat and soft.
Design it yourself in the Kit Builder

Fabric selection
Every Fabric We Run for Athletics
Not a highlight reel — this is the full working list, including the trims and secondary materials that decide whether a kit survives a season. Weights are the ranges we actually run; the exact specification is fixed at sampling.
Only polyester can be sublimated — and it must start white
Dye sublimation bonds ink into polyester fibres, so it cannot be used on cotton, on nylon, or on fabric that has already been dyed dark. If your design needs all-over colour, stripes, hoops or gradients, it has to be built on one of the sublimation-ready knits below. Everything else is decorated by embroidery, transfer or screen print instead. Fabrics are tagged accordingly.
Racing kit — vests, shorts & briefs

Sizing Charts
Garment measurements, taken flat, in centimetres. If you are ordering for a squad you have not measured, request a size set first — it costs far less than re-running a production batch.
Racing vest — men’s
cm| Size | Chest | Length |
|---|---|---|
| XS | 40 | 64 |
| S | 43 | 66 |
| M | 46 | 68 |
| L | 49 | 70 |
| XL | 52 | 72 |
Garment measured flat. Cut close; the vest is designed to sit against the body without flapping.

| 8 | 38 | 60 |
| 10 | 41 | 62 |
| 12 | 44 | 64 |

| XS | 28 | 20 |
| S | 31 | 21 |
| M | 34 | 22 |

How to measure
Measure a garment the squad already wears and compare it to the tables above — it is far more reliable than measuring bodies.
- A
- ChestMeasure flat, 2.5 cm below the armhole, seam to seam. Double it for the full circumference.
- B
- Body lengthFrom the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the hem.
- C
- SleeveFrom the shoulder seam to the sleeve opening.

World Athletics competition rules
Athletics Kit Rules We Build To
Athletics rules are less about the garment’s construction and more about identification and fairness. These are the ones that affect how a club vest is designed.
- The club competes in one identical uniform
- Athletes representing a club must compete in the club’s registered uniform, and all members wear the same design. A vest that is a shade off from the rest of the squad can be queried at a championship.
- Kit must not be transparent
- Competition clothing must be non-transparent even when wet. At racing weights this is a real constraint — it is the main reason we do not go below a certain fabric weight on a light-coloured vest, however much an athlete wants the gram saving.
- Race bibs must be visible
- Athletes wear bib numbers pinned front and back and these must not be cut, folded or obscured. We keep the vest’s front panel clear of raised decoration so a bib pins flat.
- No aid from the clothing
- Clothing must not be constructed to give an athlete unfair assistance. Anything that behaves as a mechanical aid rather than a garment is prohibited.
- Advertising limits
- Competition rules restrict the size and number of sponsor and manufacturer marks on a vest. Send your federation’s current specification with your brief and we lay artwork out inside it.
Rules change and competitions add their own. Send your competition handbook with the brief and we will lay the artwork out inside its limits — a routine part of our design step, not an extra.
Custom athletics manufacturing, in detail
Addahar Enterprises manufactures complete custom athletics kits for clubs, schools, universities and distributors. Track and field is the lightest kit we make and the least forgiving: at racing weight there is nowhere for a badly finished seam to hide, and an athlete will notice a chafing armhole within four hundred metres.
So the construction leads on finishing rather than fabric weight. Armholes and necklines are bound rather than hemmed, seams are flatlocked so nothing sits proud against skin, and the vest is cut with a clean front panel because a race bib gets pinned across it at every meeting.
One club vest covers every event, which makes athletics unusually simple to kit out — but the range around it is wide, because a thrower, a sprinter and a distance runner want very different things from their shorts and warm-ups. We supply the vest plus split shorts, briefs, crop tops, tights and full warm-up layers on one colour standard.
OEM, ODM & Private Label
How we work with you depends on how much of the design you already own. All four routes run through the same factory and the same quality process.

Athletics Manufacturing FAQs
The questions we are asked most often, answered straight.
What is the minimum order for custom athletics kit?
Sublimated vests start at 20 pieces per design and the run can be all different sizes and a mix of men’s and women’s fits. One design covers the whole club, since every event wears the same vest.
Will a light-coloured vest go see-through when wet?
Not on the fabrics we use for it. World Athletics requires competition kit to be non-transparent even when wet, so on light colours we hold a minimum fabric weight rather than chasing the lightest possible cloth. It is the one place we will push back on a request to go lighter.
Why no embroidery on racing vests?
At racing weight a dense embroidery stiffens the fabric, adds weight and chafes over distance. We sublimate the crest into the vest instead, and save embroidery for warm-up jackets and travel wear where it looks and feels right.
Do you make women’s fits and crop tops?
Yes. The women’s vest runs on its own block through the shoulder, bust and waist, and we make supportive crop tops with bound edges to match the club design.
Split shorts, briefs or both?
Most clubs order both. Sprinters generally prefer briefs, distance runners split shorts, and field athletes vary. They print from the same artwork so the squad still looks like one team.
Will a race bib pin flat to the vest?
Yes — we keep the front panel clear of raised decoration for exactly that reason. A bib pinned over a thick applied print sits proud and tears more easily.
Can you match our existing club colours?
Yes. Send a Pantone reference or a physical vest and we match to it, then record the recipe against your account so replacements ordered mid-season match the originals.
Do you supply junior and school sizes?
Yes, on an age-band youth block down to XS. Request a size set before a full junior-section run, since racing vests are cut close.
Can you produce under our own brand label?
Yes. Under private label we apply your woven neck label and care label — kept flat and soft, since anything stiff is felt at this fabric weight.
How long does an athletics kit order take?
Samples in 7–10 working days from artwork approval, bulk in 15–20 working days after sign-off, and repeat orders from an existing pattern in 10–14 working days.
