Our minimum is 20 pieces per design — and that means 20 garments of one design, not 20 of each size. A squad ordering twenty shirts across six different sizes is a single 20-piece order.
What the minimum actually means
A minimum order exists because the fixed work of setting up production — drafting and grading the pattern, laying the marker, preparing the decoration — costs the same whether we then make twenty garments or two thousand. Below a certain quantity that setup is more than the garments are worth.
The important detail, and the one most suppliers are vague about, is what counts toward it. For us it is 20 pieces of one design. Sizes are irrelevant — a squad ordering four smalls, eight mediums, six larges and two 2XLs has met the minimum. What does not combine is two different designs: a home shirt and an away shirt are two designs, so twenty of each.
Some items sit above this. Woven labels carry their own minimum because a loom has to be set up regardless. Full-button baseball jerseys and integrated football pants involve more cut-and-sew work than a standard garment. We will always tell you which minimum applies before you commit rather than after.
What Drives the Price
We do not publish a price list, because a headline figure would be a number we could not stand behind. These four factors decide what your order actually costs.
Quantity
The largest single factor. Setup — patterns, markers, screens, digitising — is spread across the run, so the per-piece cost falls steeply between 20 and 100 pieces and keeps improving from there.
Fabric
Usually the biggest material cost. A 300 gsm bonded softshell costs several times what a 140 gsm single jersey does, and heavier fabric also consumes more of it.
Decoration method
Sublimation has no per-colour cost, so complexity is free. Screen printing charges per colour. Embroidery charges by stitch count. The same design can price very differently by method.
Construction
Panel count, seam types and extras like pockets, zips, gussets or padded panels all add machine time. A four-panel jersey and a twelve-panel one are different products to make.
The cheapest quote is not always the cheapest order
A price that looks low usually means a lighter fabric, fewer panels, or decoration that will not survive a season. If a quote you have received elsewhere is significantly below ours, send it to us — we will tell you honestly where the difference is, and sometimes the answer is that theirs is the better deal.
